This week, we're taking a trip down memory lane, LOOSELY inspired by the 90s classic "Homeward Bound." If there’s anything Porters can do, it’s springboard from one topic to another with little to no regard to a theme.

Grab your leash and let’s go on a walk: From Cassidy, the angelic German Shepherd, to Taylor, the chaos-incarnate Boxer-Rottweiler mix, you might say that our furry siblings were the stars of their own incredible journeys.

Highlights include:

• Taylor's romantic encounter with a determined wiener dog

• Erin the cat's eye-popping adventure (literally)

• The infamous butt tumor that became a family conversation starter (this is a brand-new sentence that has never been used on the Internet before.) (We hope.)

Now, before you call PETA, know this: We loved these animals fiercely. They were our partners in crime, our comforters, and sometimes our reluctant dress-up dolls. Sure, they caused more property damage than a small tornado, but they were our small tornadoes and we did our best.
